A partnership agreement in the area of education of children with and without developmental delays was signed today by the minister for education, science and youth of the Sarajevo Canton, Elvir Kazazovic and the director of Association for advancement of education and support for children with and without developmental delays “EDUS-Education for All” Nirvana Pistoljevic.
“The main purpose of this agreement is to develop, strengthen, advance and promote education of children, with or without developmental delays, education and advancement of the knowledge of the professionals, education and support to parents, scientific cooperation with the wider professional community, through the joint work of the government and non-government sectors. The signing of this agreement aims to improve the quality and the structural strength of the existing system of support for children with and without developmental delays, through the partnership of the government and non-government sector, as well as raising awareness of public of the need for improvement of education for all children, regardless of their ability.”
